An Introduction to Some Key DeathSpank Characters

DeathSpank – Charming, intelligent, enigmatic: These are just a few words that nobody ever uses when describing DeathSpank. He is a force of nature. A man of action. He is likely to shoot before he even knows there’s a question to ask.
Sandy - Mysterious red haired woman who follows DeathSpank with great interest. Her obsession with DeathSpank retrieving the Artifact borders on psychopathic while their relationship remains platonic. Sandy is the only one who knows what’s really going on. She just can’t say due to NDAs.
Eubrick – It’s easy to feel sorry for poor old Eubrick. Don’t. He retired after a career adventuring way back when level three was a big deal.
Ms. Heybenstance – An old demon witch that lives down the road. She’s a master of black magic, demonic incantations, evil spells of sorcery, makes a mean apple pie.
Lord Von Prong – Evil Lord of the land and suspiciously sole survivor of the powerful Von Prong family. Wants DeathSpank dead and his Thong alive. Lord Von Prong is hiding a secret and it’s not his Aunt May’s cranberry pie recipe, if you know what I mean.
Sergeant Orque – Lord Von Prong’s right-hand Orque. He even went to college. True, he burned it down, but he could really feel the culture soaking in as he basked in the warmth of the Philosophy wing.
Freen Hamplestammer - Freen has a mission in life to sell, promote and perpetually extoll the virtues of felt. You haven’t got felt until you get felt by Freen. Other people sell felt, but do you know what’s in it? Poison. Deadly, deadly poison.
Tina the Taco Vendor – Even medieval larper College is expensive. Working the taco stand is great way to earn some extra book money. Tina cares nothing for your petty non-taco related problems.
Mayor - Spineless, yet well loved politician. Wants to make everyone happy, never likes delivering bad news.
Pedro - South American guide that leads DeathSpank to the doorstep of Ms. Heybenstance at the beginning of the game. For the right price, Pedro will take you anywhere, just don’t expect him to take you back. A major character of incredible importance.

Im still hoping for a regular box release for the PC cause there are still a few people (at least one) who prefer something physical instead of a crappy download via one of the well known scourges of humanity…

The problem now is if you dont release a PC version everyone can say I told you so and if you do release one then It might look like you gave in to pressure. My opinion is that you probably will release a PC version so everyone should just wait for it to be confirmed.

We haven’t said that it won’t be coming to PC, we just haven’t announced that it will be coming to PC. We’re doing everything that we can to bring DeathSpank to as many people as possible, keep your eyes posted to our website/RSS/Tweets for updates. We don’t want to rush a port from console to PC… we want to make sure that if/when we do a PC version that it’s done properly and given the love and attention it deserves.

Too bad none of these characters will see the light of day on the pc. For 5$ i’ll take you to EA’s personal hell, a one way trip.

@admin: Too bad, I was hoping for a cousin to our beloved CoMI lemonade/canons boy ;)

I think it’s pretty damn safe to say that Pedro is definitely not annoying!

  7. King Toko says:

Im guessing Pedro is going to be either cute and adorable or really annoying not sure which at the moment.
